Octossure Master Class
Four live workshops, June to July 2026. Session times will be confirmed closer to each date. Register for any session and we email the Zoom link before you join.
Active Risk Register
Learn how to turn the Risk Register from a static compliance document into a live operational tool within Octossure. This session will explore practical ways to identify, monitor and manage risks across training products, assessment systems, trainers, funding contracts and governance obligations. We will also look at how active risk monitoring supports the 2025 Standards and demonstrates continuous improvement and organisational oversight.
Building a Validation Program
Validation should be more than a calendar exercise. This Master Class will step through how to build a practical, risk-based Validation Program in Octossure that aligns with the Standards, industry expectations and operational reality. Topics will include sample selection, validation scheduling, Judgement vs Practice validation approaches, evidence collection, action tracking and how to create a validation system that genuinely improves assessment quality.
Spot Checks
Spot Checks are one of the simplest but most powerful quality assurance activities an RTO can undertake. This session will focus on how to implement targeted spot checks within Octossure to identify emerging issues before they become audit findings. We will cover practical examples including trainer files, assessment judgements, student records, AVETMISS data, enrolment evidence and funding compliance checks.
Q&A: Chew the Fat
An open discussion session where participants can raise questions, workshop scenarios, share challenges and discuss practical compliance and operational issues with peers. This is designed as an informal but highly valuable conversation space to explore real-world examples, Octossure workflows, audit experiences and smarter ways of managing compliance without overcomplicating systems.
